Brita Sundberg-Weitman and Jen Robinson email exchange

We have been passed the below email exchange which is reportedly between Jen Robinson (who is acting on behalf of Julian Assange) and one of the expert witnesses, Brita Sundberg-Weitman.  It talks of preparing and changing the expert witness testimony, and that Brita is not an expert on sexual offenses.  We have asked Brita to comment on this as well as on previous emails, but have received no reply – though we have confirmed that the email address was indeed hers.  We have been unable to verify the email address seemingly used by Jen, as it now returns errors. It was @fsilaw.com, who no longer represent Mr Assange. We would welcome comments from Jen or Brita on the below.

Dear Jennifer,

Since Friday night my internet connection has not been functioning,
but now it seems to be OK again – let’s hope it will last.

As to the draft expert report I cannot pretend that I am an expert of
the law on sexual offences, since that law has been changed after I
retired, so I must remove that part. There are also some statements of
fact in your draft that I cannot be sure of. I want to limit myself to
what I really know for sure.

I will try to get the references and explanations missing, now that
my internet connection works again.

You already sent me two witness statements, one by Ms A and the other
by Ms W. If you have more evidence I would of course be interested in
reading them.

I will not charge any fee, since I have done most of the work before
we met, purely out of interest – well maybe a copy of Assange’s
coming book as a souvenir.

I cannot be sure of the 7 and 8 February, because I have caught a bad
cold affecting my ears. I will keep you informed.

Regards/Brita

Dear Brita

If it helps, we thought you might also want to see the police
documents that we have in relation to Mr Assange’s case.

I look forward to discussing this with you.

Kind regards,

Jen
